“No One Should Have to Girdle Alone”

Erin was my first girdle gurl. She loves layers. And lessons in naughtiness.

Clients and my Parlor Pets are rich sources of ideas and information, and Erin is no exception. She introduced me to the wonderful world of girdling. I likely wouldn’t have considered this on my own, since to date I’ve been blessed with a waistline that doesn’t require shapewear. I also live in the tropical climate of South Florida, where we try to wear as few clothes as possible.

When I thought of girdles, what came to mind were the ones in my grandmother’s “unmentionables” drawer. Definitely never thought of those as sexy.

But Erin is an aficionado of vintage girdles, and wears a girdle and pantyhose under a suit and tie almost every day. She can rattle off makes and model numbers on sight, like other people do for cars or sports statistics.  And waxed poetic about the feelings of  femininity, submission, confinement, and compression that girdling brought her, especially when layered.  She prefers panty girdles with good reason.

When Erin came for her first appointment, she brought me a gift of three girdles of different types and colors. I decided to try them on right away, and was surprised how much I liked the firm, tight feeling and look. I continued our appointment wearing a girdle and pantyhose similar to those Erin had on, and we had a blast during playtime. One comment she made is becoming a new motto around the Parlor: “No one should have to girdle alone.”
